MTN Nigeria is always introducing new innovative ways to serve her subscribers well. Sometime last month they improved the Night Data plan for the convenience of the subscribers and this time they have introduced a more interesting package.

The new package is called the MTN Data Referral Service and it's available only on the MyMTN application. As an MTN subscriber, you get a whopping 10% of whatever data plan your referral purchases. It's as easy as just referring your friend or family member using the MyMTN application and any data they purchase after that you get a whopping 10% of it instantly and they get 50%.

How to Activate the MTN Data Referral Service;

Like I stated earlier, you need to have the MyMTN application installed on your Android or iOS device, then you simply follow the pictoral representation below.

1. Launch the MyMTN application and login and tap on the three horizontal lines at the top left corner-- check image below

After that, a new list of options will show up for you to select, simply tap on free data" - check image below

This will bring you to a new page entirely, simply select Refer a Data Plan - check image below

You will be shown a box to enter the phone numbers of the people you want to refer, enter the number(s) and invite them. That's all!

What's more interesting?

The person you refered won't lose out entirely as he or she would be credited 50% of whatever data purchased! So it's a win win for everyone.
