WhatsApp the Facebook owned social network has churned out a list of devices that won't be able to use the WhatsApp messenger as time goes on. WhatsApp is always known for this as they churn out devices that won't support the subsequent updates that will be developed for the WhatsApp messenger. Some years back they ended support for BlackBerry 10 and Nokia S40 series and symbian devices as if that was not enough they have released another list of devices that the WhatsApp messenger won't be allowed to run on anymore. Not that they'll automatically stop working but as time goes on they'll lose alot of features as new updates won't be released for them.

List of Smartphones That will no Longer be Supported
Smartphones that will soon stop supporting WhatsApp include:👉 All Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019
👉 Android versions 2.3.7 and older after February 1, 2020
👉 iPhone OS 7 and older after February 1, 2020
It is very clear that from the above, windows phone users will have the Lion share of this issue as no version of the windows OS is supported, so if you're making use of a Windows Phone start packaging the funds for the acquisition of a higher version of Android or risk losing contact with your family and friends.
